Ask yourself a few questions:
Why am I looking to sell? Am I looking to downsize? Do I need a bigger space? Am I looking to relocated because of my job?
Do I need to sell my home in order to be able to purchase a new home?
These questions should be answered and presented to your Realtor to better understand your needs.
Find the right Realtor
Having the right Agent is imperative to selling your home. You will want to have someone that will be able to provide you a Competitive Market Analysis (CMA). This shows how your home compares to others in the market. A well thought out CMA will also breakdown how the Agent will utilize their time when it comes to selling your home. Be “Buyer Ready”
The first thing potential buyers see is the front of your home. Consider your curb appeal and make any improvements that may need to be made. Additionally, consider any minor repairs within the home without over-improving. Remove any unnecessary clutter and ask your Agent for an “Open House Check List”.
